Tenesha Marie Mental Health Advocate and Suicide Loss Survivor I'm Tenesha Marie and I'm the definition of a true introvert. I'm 28, a wife, and a new mother to my family but to the rest of the world I am making it my life long mission to raise awareness on the importance of mental health one person at a time. We are currently raising our family in my hometown in Connecticut after many years of adventure in Florida and North Carolina. I gather my insight and knowledge from personal experiences and losses consisting of post partum depression and generalized anxiety. My survival after the suicide of my mother in 2015 weighs heavy on my need to shed light on stigmas. I could no longer let my introverted personality withhold me from having a voice to be an advocate for those struggling to have and keep a healthy mind. I also have a passion for giving back and paying it forward to those in need or just a random act of kindness so I hope these are some thing you can relate to and I look forward to you joining me on this journey as I tell my story and the story of others to end the stigma attached to mental illnesses.
